Serge Luten was a make up artist, stylist, and photographer.  School bored him and he spent his time performing make overs on his friends and then taking a photo of them with a kodak instamatic.

"Fantastical in extreme, they have the surreal spirit of Salvador Dali's fashion work. He advocates that women should develop their own creative effects with make-up, whether they want to look natural or artificial."

He is truly inspiring me to go put on make up right now!
